This group based class teaches clients how to better socialize their dog in real life situations. Dogzies uses both outdoor and indoor training facilities, as well as public spaces around Kelowna, to provide clients with a unique hands-on opportunity to learn appropriate dog training techniques year round.  This class is suitable for the entire family so that everyone can acquire a better understanding of how to function like a "pack".

Pre-Requisites:

• Attend a complimentary orientation/observation

Day School dogs will interact with other dogs in a structured environment where they will be physically and mentally exercised through a balanced, daily, routine of socialization and behaviour training throughout Kelowna (indoors & outdoors).  Day School is a healthy alternative to crating dogs during the work day and prevents destructive behaviour, anxiety, boredom, and loneliness.

 Home Boarding

Dogzies offers exclusive boarding to clients that are actively participating in Behavioural/Socialization Classes and Day School.  The dogs will experience an environment similar to the one they would find at home, making it an easy transition away from their family.

The Dogzies In Home Boarding program features:

• Overnight Accommodations
• Evening Hike

• Controlled Socialization

Pre-Requisites:

• Active participation in Behavioural/Socialization Classes
• Active participation in Dayschool or Reliable Off Leash training program

Logistics:

• Dogs will stay at Dogzies overnight.  Designated drop off and pick up times.

Do you want your dog to be reliable in extreme situations?

Off leash training using an ecollar/pager will assist the client in obtaining maximum results with no physical force to the dog.  It provides the dog with freedom from a leash and teaches them to learn appropriate behaviours in a gentle manner.  This tool will give the client the confidence and trust required to take their dog anywhere.  Dogzies requires that all dogs have a 100% recall, and Pager Training is an effective tool for encouraging recall.

The Dogzies Pager Training program features:

• 100% recall

Elimination of:

• bolting
• aggression
• excessive barking
• chasing cars/livestock

Pre-Requisites:

• Active participation in Behavioural/Socialization Classes

Dogzies offers Private Training and consultations for dogs that require training in a more controlled environment. Accepted on a case by case basis.
